About idego
What is idego?
idego.ai is an AI-native application development agency. It builds production web applications, mobile applications, internal tools, and AI-powered products for companies that need software built fast and built right. Senior human architects direct AI agents that write, test, and ship production code — enabling a team of 2–3 people to deliver what traditionally requires 5–15 engineers.
What does “AI-native” mean?
At idego.ai, “AI-native” means AI agents are the primary engineering workforce, not a bolt-on tool. Senior human engineers direct AI agents that write, test, and ship production code. AI isn’t an afterthought or a marketing label — it’s the core of the entire engineering workflow. This is structurally different from traditional agencies that simply use AI-assisted coding tools like Copilot.
Will AI write my code?
Yes — with senior human review on every line. At idego.ai, AI agents handle the implementation volume under the direction of experienced human architects who design the system, review every output, and ensure production quality. Every line of code is reviewed by a senior engineer before it ships, regardless of whether it was written by a human or an AI agent.
Is the code production-ready?
Yes. Every project is tested, reviewed, and deployed to production infrastructure. We don’t ship prototypes and call it done — you get software you can build a business on.
Do I own the code?
Yes, 100%. When you work with idego.ai, you own all of the code, infrastructure, and accounts. There is no vendor lock-in and no proprietary frameworks. You can walk away at any time with a fully documented, production-ready codebase that your own team or any other developer can maintain.
How does idego.ai compare to traditional development agencies?
idego.ai is structurally different from traditional development agencies. Traditional agencies bill by the hour and staff projects with 5–15 engineers over 3–6 months. idego.ai uses fixed project pricing with a team of 2–3 senior humans plus AI agents, delivering production software in 2–8 weeks. The result is faster delivery, lower cost, and consistent code quality — because AI agents handle implementation volume while senior architects focus on system design and quality control.
Can AI agents really write production-quality code?
Yes. At idego.ai, AI agents write production-quality code under the direction and review of senior human architects. Every line of code — whether generated by AI or written by a human — goes through the same review process. The AI handles implementation volume (writing features, tests, configuration, documentation), while humans handle the parts that require judgment: system architecture, technology selection, edge case handling, and quality assurance. The result is production-ready software that meets the same standards as code written entirely by senior engineers.
Working with us
Process & delivery
How fast can you deliver?
idego.ai delivers a working prototype in approximately 1 week (5 business days). A production-ready v1 application is delivered in 2 to 8 weeks, depending on complexity. By comparison, traditional development agencies typically take 3 to 6 months for equivalent scope. idego.ai is significantly faster because AI agents handle the implementation volume while senior humans focus on architecture and quality.
What’s the Prototype Sprint?
The Prototype Sprint is idego.ai’s smallest engagement: a 5-business-day sprint that delivers a working application — not wireframes, not mockups. You get real, running software built with production-grade code and real infrastructure that you can click through, test, and show to stakeholders. Pricing starts at a few thousand dollars. It’s the fastest way to validate a product idea before committing to a full build.
What tech stack do you use?
idego.ai is stack-agnostic and selects the right tools for each project. Commonly used technologies include React, Next.js, and Vue for frontend; Node.js, Python, and Go for backend; React Native, Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin for mobile; PostgreSQL and Redis for databases; and AWS, GCP, and Vercel for cloud and deployment. For AI products, idego.ai works with LLM APIs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
Do you require long-term contracts?
No. Start with a single project — a Prototype Sprint or a full build. No retainers, no multi-month commitments. If the work is good, you’ll come back. That’s how we prefer it.
Can you work with an existing codebase?
Yes. We regularly work with existing codebases — extending features, modernizing architecture, or integrating new capabilities. We’ll assess the codebase, identify the best approach, and get to work.
Who will I work with?
At idego.ai, every project is led by a senior engineer with deep architectural experience. There are no junior developers on the team. Every person working on your project has the experience and judgment to make real architectural decisions, direct AI agents effectively, and ship production-quality software — not just follow a ticket.
What is the difference between AI-native and AI-assisted development?
AI-assisted development means developers use AI tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to help write code faster — but the fundamental process is the same: human developers do the work, AI helps at the margins. AI-native development, as practiced by idego.ai, is structurally different. AI agents are the primary engineering workforce — they write the code, the tests, the configuration, and the documentation. Senior human engineers architect systems, direct the AI agents, review every output, and ensure production quality. This isn’t a productivity improvement — it’s a different model that enables a team of 2–3 people to deliver what traditionally requires 5–15 engineers.
Pricing
Cost & billing
How much does it cost?
idego.ai’s Prototype Sprint starts at a few thousand dollars for a 5-day engagement. Full production builds typically range from $10,000 to $100,000 or more, depending on scope and complexity. All pricing is fixed and agreed upfront after a scoping session — there are no hourly rates and no surprise invoices. Ongoing Partnership engagements are priced on a monthly basis.
Why fixed pricing?
idego.ai uses fixed pricing because AI agents handle the implementation, so costs aren’t tied to hours worked. Fixed pricing aligns incentives: idego.ai benefits from efficiency and fast delivery, and clients get predictable costs with no surprise invoices. This is fundamentally different from the time-and-materials model used by most traditional development agencies.
Is there a minimum project size?
idego.ai’s minimum for full production builds is typically $10,000. The Prototype Sprint is the smallest engagement and starts at a few thousand dollars for a 5-day sprint. If you’re not sure where your project falls, contact [email protected] and the team will help scope it.
